History
From the historical development of the Concrete Structures Section and through its formative chairs, a diverse range of research areas has developed at the IMB (Concrete Structures Section).
Our research spectrum ranges from classical solid construction to new materials and dynamics. In particular, practical building dynamics, which is classically found in mechanics, has been included as an independent research and teaching area since Prof. Dr.-Ing Fritz Peter Müller (1973).
